The Company

From Real People

From Whirlpool, posted by Galvin: The gas bottle lasts for ages, we get one every 3 months or so, and we use it alot.

From Whirlpool, posted by Pugsly: I use it for soda water all the time – you can make it as fizzy or flat as you like. Cheap and convenient.

From Chow, posted by Tastesgoodwhatisit: I have two Sodastreams, one for work and one for home, which should give you an idea of how much I like it.

I’ve never had a problem with refills – the place I bought it sells them for $15 on return of the old one, and a single cartridge gives me about 60 L of fairly fizzy water.

I do use it almost entirely for straight soda water, maybe adding in a bit of lime juice or mint, and don’t use the syrups – the soda water is to cut down on my consumption of sweet drinks, rather than making them cheaper. A bit of grenadine syrup makes a nice soda, though.

One thing to note about the syrups – their standard syrups use artificial sweetener as well as sugar, which gives an after taste I don’t like. I think some of the premium blends are all sugar.

Overall this product will benefit people who want an alternative to water and soft drinks. This is a cheap, environmentally friendly and waste free product that will serve you well.
