Pros

TheNikon D5100 DLSR camera takes great photos of outstanding quality. The D5100 produces noise-free JPEG  images. The camera produces images at ISO 100-1600 and ISO 3200, which also looks great. It also produces ISO 6400 images which show a little bit of noise. The fastest settings the camera can reach are ISO 12800 and 25600 which are a lot noisier and suffer a lot from the softening of fine detail and loss of saturation. These images are still great for small prints and resizing for web use, I thinks it’s a great aspect that you can vary the quality of your image depending on the type of picture you would like to take. The D5100 also has takes 4 frames per second which is a fast performance rate. The swivel screen is also very handy when you are trying to change angles without having to get down on the ground of bend in an odd position. Its also great that its easy to use for amateur and professional photographers. The Nikon D5100 also has video and picture settings. All over this camera is pretty good.

Cons

TheNikon D5100  DLSR camera is a great camera but like everything it does have faults. One customer found the camera perfect waLvcuntil they had it for about five months, after five months the pictures turned black and the customer couldn’t figure out what was wrong. The customer reset the camera and it did the same thing two months later. This time there was no way to fix the camera and it was basically useless. A few customers have had the exact same issue just different time periods in between. This is the only recorded issue with the Nikon D5100 DLSR camera.

TheNikon D5100  camera is a great camera, although this camera does have faults, it still works great and produces great quality images. Every camera is going to have a fault and i find it pretty impressive that this camera only has one recorded fault. I would definitely recommend this camera from personal experience because it is easy to use, has great quality images and has heaps of picture and video settings.
