Hello and welcome to the Sarah show hosted by yours truly, Sarah! This week on the show we are going to be talking/analysing 2 cameras that have been causing quite a lot of controversy between lots of different camera lovers. I say ‘we’ because I actually have a special guest on the show today, but we will get to her later. So these cameras are the Nikon D3200 camera and the Canon EOS 100D DSLR. Personally, I like the Nikon D3200 better, but I thought I’d just get someone else’s opinion and review with someone else who definitely knows a lot more about cameras than me. So without a further ado I’d like to officially introduce you to our special guest and her name is..

Yes, that’s her name. Say hi Caitlyn.

Yes so Caitlyn here will helping me review these cameras.

Yes I will.

First off Caitlyn, before we get right into these cameras and the reviews about them, do you actually have a favourite out of these two already?

Yeah well, I do have lot’s of experience with cameras themselves but the one that i’m using right now and that I’ve had for over 4 years is actually the Canon EOS 100D DSLR. I absolutely love this camera, it really works for me, has been from the moment I got it. So I’m going to have to disagree with you by saying that the Canon [EOS 100D DSLR] is actually better then the Nikon [D3200].

Alright, well it seems we have ourselves a little bit of an argument this episode. So onto more important stuff which are the reviews for these cameras. But not just the reviews, we’re also going to be having a little chat about the features of these 2 cameras as well. So I have gone ahead and done some research on the Nikon D3200 camera, because that’s my personal favourite and before getting Caitlyn on the show I told her to do some research about the Canon EOS 100D DSLR. So we’ll just start to compare those two.

Yeah so the main features of the Canon [EOS 100D DSLR]. I’ve researched, as you said, and I’ve come up with some really good ones that I personally relate to. When I was actually first buying a camera the Canon [EOS 100D DSLR] did stand out to me because of this one reason. It’s just really easy to use, in all the reviews everyone said that it was just really simple. So if you’re a beginner, you can just buy this camera and it will take professional shots.

Yes well I found that there apparently was a very easy guide you how to work different things [on the Nikon D3200] that might not be the exact same thing. So I would say that the Canon [EOS 100D DSLR] would be better in the ‘easy to use’ compartment. Any other features?

Well another feature of the Canon [EOS 100D DSLR] is that it actually shoots in 18 megapixel photo and full HD videos, so thats wild.

That’s exceptional, but I believe that the Nikon D3200 actually shoots in 24.2 megapixels – capturing a richer and sharper image than the Canon EOS 100D DSLR would ever capture. So I find that the Nikon D3200, based just on reviews and features, that are all located on if you want to go check them out yourself, but there all basically saying that the Nikon d3200 is exceptional in capturing sharp, rich images even in low light.

Yeah so it really all depends on what your looking for. There are many more features on the Canon [EOS 100D DSLR], we could debate about this for hours and hours!

Yes true! But, I believe, going back to your statement that you said before Caitlyn, it all really depends on what you look for in a camera. So all these features and reviews that Caitlyn and I have just gone through, they are all featured on!

So CLICK HERE to see reviews and features about the NIKON D3200 or CLICK HERE to see reviews and features about the CANON EOS 100D DSLR.

But all in all, this basically concludes our podcast for this week! Thank you so much for coming on the show Caitlyn!

Thank you for having me!

You’re welcome back any time! But until then, see ya ’round!
