I installed the fireplace on the master bedroom wall. It warms up a cold bedroom in the mornings and adds a very luxurious/romantic ambiance in the evenings. The rear lights are fun, but not needed. The fireplace hangs with a French cleat, which is very strong, but looks cheap. I replaced the included plastic anchors with much stronger steel butterfly anchors and am very confident that the fireplace isn’t going to fall off of the wall. The flames aren’t exactly realistic. They’re like lit shadows of flames. But it’s nice. We’ve enjoyed it for a few weeks now, and I can honestly say that I’d buy this again if this one were stolen. Only thing I’d change would be the front glass. I’d really like for the black to be wood tone or stainless steel or to at least be given more options.

This fireplace space heater is very attractive and feels cozy. It’s perfect for chilly winter nights. I run it even without the heat because I enjoy looking at the flames. It takes up very little room. It was relatively easy to mount to the wall. I have a 1947 home that’s in great shape, but the upstairs is always on the chilly side. I can turn the heat on for a few minutes and it takes the edge off the cold easily and quickly.
